Wreck This Journal :: Week 5
Dear Wreck This Journal,
What happened to week 5? (What the heck happened to week 4, for that matter? I sure missed the boat on that one.) You have sat ignored and unappreciated at my bedside for two weeks now. And for that, I am sorry. There has been no wrecking from me, and you must be mighty upset. I will do my best to make it up to you, possibly by smearing your pages with Lucky Charm marshmallow rainbows or drawing destructive things on your cover that I think are ugly but you will love.
Please forgive me, Journal. I promise that from here on out, things will be better for the both of us. And if you could just help me pack up the contents of my apartment and wrap up my work projects and get me travel insurance quotes and passport photos and give me an extra 4 hours in the day for the next couple weeks so we can have more time together, that would be AWESOME.

Don't worry about the Journal, preparation for the music tour is more important ... relax and keep breathing! ;)
oh I gave up following any time schedule a long time ago. My journal will take much longer to complete than our group about it will......haha
Lucky Charms?! Oh crimeney, your journal is probably terrified of the moment when you turn your attention to him!
And I agree with Melinda - this could be a lifelong project ... no need to hurry.
Hybrid J - I didn't mean to sound so stressed, I'm just busy and don't have a lot of creative time!I had a bath last night and it was a lovely little bit of relaxation. :)
Melinda - I had hoped to complete the entire journal by the end of July, but clearly that's not happening! I'm thinking that it will get packed up while I'm away, and hopefully I can tackle it with new vigour when I get home next summer!
Kavindra - I looove Lucky Charms. I don't usually let myself buy sugary cereals, but lately...
Hmmmmm...what a nice note to your journal - thoughtful, considerate and caring.
But...is that a chair with a star on the seat back I see below and behind that stack your journal sits upon?????? (cranes neck for closer look....) Is that poor thing going to have to go into some dark storage unit while you're gone???? I can babysit!
Sheila - It is a chair with a star! Sort of...the star is just a clear acrylic light from Ikea that hangs from the back, and the chair is from my parent's dining room back when I was little. I use this chair as my nightstand, and it doubles as a dining chair if I have anyone over (because I only have one other chair in my apartment!).
Your journal seems to be contentedly waiting for you. There's no time table in Wrecklandia. If, however, your magical journal does grant you the wish of 4 extra hours a day - hook me up!
Good luck at getting all he prep work done. Enjoy.
Ya know, maybe you need this journal at a later date more than you need it now. It's alright. :)
Your own pace is the best pace! :)
take that journal on tour.. it deserves it.. just being with you
